It’s technically still 2016 for a few more days, but let’s be honest — if you’re like me, you’re already dreaming of what the local wedding and events industry has in store for 2017. Today brings the first snow of the season to the High Country, and, as much as I love a good, fluffy snow here in the mountains, this bright and sunny bridal portrait session has my head in the clouds! It features an absolutely lovely local bride, Breanna Brown Shockley (she’s also the owner of one of our preferred vendors, Mountain Mystic Spray Tan — check them out!) and some incredible long range views of the Blue Ridge! Her images were crafted by Jonathan and Bonnie Burton, the phenomenal husband-and-wife team behind Burton Photography and some wonderful folks that I’m happy to call my friends.
Feeling cold and dreary on this blustery, late December day? Warm up with a few of Breanna’s gorgeous bridals and join me in dreaming of summertime in the High South!
By the way, Breanna is a featured bride in our 2017 edition of High South Weddings magazine! See her big day on page 50.
Thinking about your own bridal portraits? Bonnie weighs in on this sweet southern tradition on page 37 and tells us why she recommends it for all of her brides.
